Update on my daughter, Bella. Yesterday, Bella had major brain surgery to remove a tumor from her brain.

Led by an amazing team from Oshei Buffalo and UB Neurosurgery they successfully removed the tumor during a 7-hour surgery.

Bella was then transferred to the Pediatric ICU where Tiffany and I were able to unite with her and now stay with her.

The doctors are very happy with her progress and Bella is able to move all of her extremities, talk, laugh, smile, see and hear everything that is going on.  She even rolled her eyes at me once today.

This was the first step of likely a long road back to health, but we are so incredibly grateful to be at this point with her.

She’s been an absolute warrior and is so incredibly strong.  I’m in awe of her.

Tiffany and I are absolutely humbled by the thousands of people around the world praying for her.  We thank you from the bottom of our heart.

Finally and most importantly, Jesus Christ is being magnified throughout Bella’s trials.  The amount of people that flooded heaven with prayer requests for Bella are are so special to us. Their prayers are actually an individual blessing as well changing their hearts and bringing them closer to God.

God has perfect plans for all of us and say that knowing that we had a positive outcome from this surgery, but also know that this was His will, not ours own.

Jesus uses broken people (like me) and trials and tribulations for His good and for the good of His kingdom.  He will use Bella and this trial to point others to Him.

As it is written in John 14 verse 6 Jesus says “…I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

A verse that I prayed over probably a thousand times yesterday was Romans 8:38-39“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We thank you. We love you. We ask for continued prayers of healing and health for Bella.

Praise Jesus!
